Bejeweled Blitz Live - The Life And Times Of A Sparkly Gem

Quick Review:

PopCap Games releases a stand-alone version of their frantic one-minute gem-matching mayhem, made popular in Bejeweled 3 and on Facebook. Though light on features, the sparkly action is tight and nerve-wrecking.

A intuitive new control scheme, and the addition of Twist Mode make this a must-play for Bejeweled fans. Plus, this XBLA version lets you play head to head with your friends locally or online. Just don't be surprised when this becomes an obsession as its bright, twinkly colors burn your retinas.

Lizzy Says

Oooooh man this game is tense! When the announcer starts counting down the last ten seconds, it's full-on panic mode! I start rage-shouting "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" while I randomly flail gems about. But it's better than not noticing the time and cry when the game suddenly ends on you. It's a very emotional experience.

Clyde Says

After playing a Bejeweled game, I often find myself lining up things in real life, hoping they'll explode in glorious twinkly fashion. They rarely do. So sad.

Artist's Notes

Is it weird that the most action I've drawn since relaunching the comic in color is about a Puzzle game?
